Process painting is easy and anyone can do it. Each painting experience is an opportunity to open to something new. Firefly Studio is a warm and inviting place. Class sizes are limited to 8 students to assure that you receive the support that you need.

Process Painting is learning to value the transformative power of the creative process more than the finished product. Creating a beautiful painting to hang on the wall is not the goal. Expression without concern for the finished product helps strengthen the relationship you have with your intuition. The intuition is never interested in how something looks, only in how something feels. The gift is in the Experience.

Using the simple tools of paint, paper and brush, art making becomes child's play. When we were young, the world was a magical place. Painting from this place allows us to explore our inner landscapes without any rules. There is no technique to learn, no style to copy and never a critique.

In the safety of a judgment free environment, Process painting will exercise your creative muscle and teach you to face your inner critic. The inner critic is that little voice that encourages us to believe that we are small, inadequate, and uncreative. Confronting the critic is the beginning of a fearless way of living. Personal empowerment is the heart of process painting.
